Ireland is one of the great cradles of the Catholic faith, the ancestral homeland of millions of American and a nation known for its timeless legends, traditions and green beauty.

In Dublin, visits to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Whitefriar Carmelite Church which includes the Shrine of St. Valentine and Our Lady of Dublin, St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral are complimented by historical and architectural tours of landmarks such as Trinity College, the famed doors of Dublin, Dail Eireann and Dublin Castle, and much more.

To the north visits will include highlights include visits to St. Peter’s Church in Drogheda, the ruins of Monasterboice and the Cross of Muiredach, a visit to the important religious and historical sites of Belfast and Letterkenny, and a stop at Giant’s Causeway.

Experience for yourself the famed natural beauty and charm of Galway, from Galway Bay to its picturesque countryside, as well as Donnegal, Sligo Bay and the Slieve League Cliffs

Other important religious pilgrimage sights will include Knock Shrine of County Mayo, the famous site of one of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary, Croagh Patrick, an important shrine to Saint Patrick,  Kylemore Abbey in Connemarra, Killarney Cathedral and Holycross Abbey, to name a few!

A popular extension to our Ireland program includes a visit to Scotland, to see the Catholic churches and shrines that have endured over the centuries, as well as a chance to see the dramatic landscape of the Scottish Highlands.
