15 Days in Egypt, Jordan & Holy Land

Day 1: Departure

Depart for your overnight flight to Cairo Egypt. Meals will be served on board.


Day 2: Arrival Cairo – Transfer to Hotel

We will arrive at Cairo Airport, where we meet our local guide and driver and head directly to hotel for dinner and overnight.



Day 3: Great Pyramids – Egyptian Museum – Cairo

Following breakfast, start the day with a visit to the Great Pyramids. See the oldest and the largest of the three pyramids in Giza. Then, we will continue to visit the Egyptian Museum. It’s known as the home of an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities and has 1200 items. Back to hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight.



Day 4: Cairo – Flight to Sharm el Sheikh – Rest of Day Leisure

After breakfast, we will depart from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh through a domestic flight. Upon arrival in Sharm el Sheikh, we will be transferred to our hotel for dinner and overnight. The rest of day is free on leisure.



Day 5: Sharm el Sheikh – Transfer to St. Catherine

Following breakfast, we will be transferred to Saint Catherine at Mt. Sinai. Built between 548 and 565, the monastery is one of the oldest working Christian Monasteries in the World. Check in at our hotel at St. Catherine. 




Day 6: Climb Mt. Sinai – Back to Hotel for Breakfast – St. Catherine’s – Taba – Petra

Early in the morning, we will climb to the Mountain of Sinai. Then we will be back to the hotel for breakfast. Following breakfast, we will visit the St. Catherine Monastery. Afterwards, we will be transferred to Taba border to cross to Jordan. Following the Cross of the Border, we will meet our local guide and driver and head to our hotel in Petra for dinner and overnight.



Day 7: Petra Full Day – Amman

After breakfast, we will visit the site of Petra (included), a 2000-year-old Nabatean (ancient Arab) city that was highlighted in the movie “Indian Jones and the Last Crusade”. We will walk through the narrow passageway (called the “Siq”) up to the Treasury, a massive royal tomb carved out of solid rock. If time permits, we will visit the traditional Tomb of Aaron (Moses’ brother), along with Little Petra. Check in at our hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight.



Day 8: Amman – Madaba – Nebo – Allenby – Jericho – Nazareth

Following breakfast, we will depart to visit Madaba, the city of mosaics, to see the wonderfully vivid 6th century Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land in the contemporary Greek Orthodox church of St. George. Then we will continue to visit Mt. Nebo to view the Holy Land from where Moses stood (Deuteronomy 34:1). It’s a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea to the Mt. of Olives and the roof tops of Jerusalem. After that, we will cross to Israel through Allenby Border where we will meet our local guide and driver and head to visit Jericho, one of the oldest cities in the world. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.



Day 9: Nazareth – Mt. Tabor – Cana

Following breakfast, we will visit the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth, St. Joseph’s Church, and Mary’ Well. Then, we will continue to visit Mt. Tabor and the church of the Transfiguration. In the afternoon, we will visit Cana and the Church of the First Miracle where married couples can renew their wedding vows. We’ll head back to Nazareth for dinner and overnight.


Day 10: Sea of Galilee – Capernaum – Tabgha – Nazareth

We will start the touring day with a boat ride around the Sea of Galilee. We will also visit the Jesus Boat Museum. We’ll continue to visit Capernaum to see the remains of an old house. Then, we’ll visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Fishes and Loaves in Tabgha. We will visit the Mt. Beatitudes on the Sea of Galilee. Afterwards, we’ll go back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.



Day 11: Haifa – Caesarea – Bethlehem – Shepherd’s Field – Jerusalem

We will start the day with a visit to Haifa where we visit the Bahai Gardens and the Stella Maris Monastery. Then, we will visit Caesarea by the sea. There we will visit the Crusader’s castle and the Roman amphitheater. We will travel to visit Bethlehem, where we visit the Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity built over the birthplace of Jesus. We continue to visit the Shepherd’s Field, where the Shepherd’s saw the star of the nativity. Check in at our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.



Day 12: Mt. Olives – Mt. Zion

Start the day after breakfast with a visit to the Ascension Chapel. Then we continue to visit Pater Noster, where Jesus taught his disciples the Lord’s Prayer. Continue for a panoramic view over Jerusalem, where our guide will point the most important sites in Jerusalem. We then walk the Palm Sunday road, stopping at Gethsemane. Then we continue to visit the Upper Room and the Church of the St. Peter in Galicantu, where Peter denied Jesus three times. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.



Day 13: Masada – Qumran – Dead Sea – Jerusalem

After breakfast, we will start the day with a visit to Masada, a remarkable piece of history. Then we will be visiting Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found. In the afternoon, we will have the chance to enjoy a float in the salty water of the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.



Day 14: Via Dolorosa – Holy Sepulchre – St. Anne – Ein Karem

We will start the day with a walk of the Stations (14 Stations of Cross). At Via Dolorosa, we will stop at Ecce Homo. We will reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Then we will visit the St. Anne & Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the paralytic. In the afternoon, we will visit Ein Karem and visit the Church of the Visitation, where Virgin Mary visited her cousin. We will also visit the church of St. John the Baptist the Birthplace of St. John. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.



Day 15: Departure

We return home with everlasting memories and arrive on the same day!
