12 Days Marion Shrines in Fatima, Lourdes, and Rome

Day 1: Depart USA

Depart for your overnight flights to the Lisbon. Meals will be served on board.


Day 2: Lisbon/Fatima

Arrival in Lisbon, meeting with your guide and driver and start of the visits of the city: placa dos Rossios, placa dos restauradores. Cathedral of Lisbon, Monastery Dos Jeronimos, the Belem tower, the church of St. Antony where we will have the Holy Mass. Continue to Fatima, one of the most famous Marian shrines in the world for a visit to the Sanctuary. Check-in to your hotel close to the shrine area. You may join the Candlelight Procession after dinner.


Day 3: Fatima

Full day of visits with lunch. Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Free time to participate in the Holy Mass at the main Church. A guided tour will include the Capelinha (Apparition Chapel), the Basilica which contains the tombs of the 3 visionaries, Bl. Jacinta, Bl. Francisco and Sr. Lucia. Visit of the museum Light & Peace. In the afternoon Visit to the house of the three shepherds in Adjustrel and to the place of the Angel appearance in Loca do Cabeco. Return to Fatima, free time for personal prayer, rosary and Candlelight procession. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.


Day 4: Fatima /Lisbon/Toulouse/Lourdes

After Breakfast, free time for personal devotion in Fatima and transfer to the Lisbon Airport. Departure to Toulouse. At the arrival, transfer to Lourdes. Arrival in Lourdes in the Evening. Dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Lourdes

This morning, we begin with a visit to the Grotto. Concelebrated Mass at the Grotto. Our walking tour takes us to Boly Mill (the birthplace of St. Bernadette), the Cachot (the former jail, where she lived during the apparitions) and the local parish church. The afternoon is free for personal devotions to Our Lady of Lourdes including, for those who wish, the legendary, healing waters of the miraculous Lourdes springs. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.


Day 6: Lourdes/Toulouse/Rome/Assisi

Breakfast in hotel and transfer to Toulouse airport. Arrival in Rome in the afternoon. Transfer to Assisi. Dinner and overnight hotel.


Day 7: Assisi

Breakfast in Hotel and guided visit of the city: Visit the Church of St. Clare which houses her incorrupt body. One of the chapels contains the crucifix that bowed its head and ordered St. Francis to “repair God’s Church”. Then tour the Basilica of St. Francis built in 1228 to house the Relics of the saint. The “upper “basilica houses beautiful frescoes of Giotto. It is from these frescoes that we will know and understand the life and the spirit of St. Francis. Holy Mass and free time for lunch. In the afternoon visits of Santa Maria deglia angeli and the Porziuncola. Dinner and overnight Assisi.


Day 8: Assisi/ Lanciano/San Giovanni Rotondo

Breakfast in Hotel and Departure to San Giovanni Rotondo. Stop in Lanciano for lunch and to visit the church of the Eucharistich Miracle. Arrival in the late afternoon in San Giovanni Rotondo. Dinner and overnight hotel


Day 9: San Giovanni Rotondo

Visit of San Giovanni Rotondo and the Sanctuary of San Pio. Time for lunch and departure to Rome.

At the arrival, Dinner and overnight.


Day 10: Rome

Breakfast in Hotel then guided tour of the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran. Six Popes are entombed here. Continue your pilgrim journey to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major (Maria Maggiore). In the afternoon guided visit of the center of Rome where we can admire Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, the church of St Agostino where is conserved the Michelangelo famous painting “The Pilgrim’s Virgins”, The Church of San Luigi dei Francesi where we can admire the other famous Caravaggio Paint “The Conversion of St Matthew”. We will end with Fontana di Trevi and The Spanish Steps. Dinner and overnight in hotel.


Day 11: Rome

After Breakfast, we will transfer in St Peter Square for the Audience with the pop. At the end free time for lunch and then visit of the Vatican Museum, The Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Cathedral. Michelangelo painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel between 1508 and 1512, and later painted The Last Judgment between 1535 and 1541 for Popes Clement VII and Paul III. The primary function of the chapel is the Papal Conclave, providing the place where the College of Cardinals of the church gathers to select a new Pope. Then walk through Saint Peter’s Basilica, The present structure completed in 1590 was built over the Byzantine and Middle Ages structures that marked the tomb of Saint Peter. There are more than 100 tombs within the basilica, including most recently Saint John Paul II. Farewell Dinner and overnight in hotel


Day 12: Rome

After our breakfast, we transfer to the airport to fly back at home keeping the incredible memories of an unforgettable journey.
