Reformation Tour in Germany

Reformation Tour in Germany

Discover the origins of the Reformation in Germany with a tour of the significant sites of its history, with a special focus on the places important to the life and work of Martin Luther. This tour program provides an opportunity for participants to better understand the history of the Lutheran church while touring well-preserved Old Towns and markets, German cuisine and the green countryside.  Tours include visits to Wittenburg, place of the hanging of the Ninety-Five Theses and the famed Lutherhaus, Wartburg Castle in Eisenach, the place where Luther translated the New Testament, Erfurt, site of Luther’s former monastery, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Berlin, and other sites.  Extensions to the Czech Republic and Switzerland to further explore Reformation history are possible.
